His Legacy
The Journey Began With a Dream
Saroj Khadgi discovered the mountains at around sixteen. Trekking and mountaineering soon became his passion and his way of connecting with people and the world.
Poon Hill and the Annapurna region held a special place in his heart. He loved the mountains not only for their beauty, but for the peace, purity, and quietness they offered.
In November 2011, he founded Buddha Sansar, bringing together his experience, his love for Nepal, and friendships he had built around the world, including a special connection with Spain.
Beyond trekking, Saroj dedicated himself to helping others, supporting children and women and reconnecting families.
He passed away the following year, but his journey continues.
Today, Buddha Sansar carries his vision forward from Kathmandu, creating journeys exclusively in Nepal.
Every trek we plan, every stay we arrange, and every traveler we welcome carries on the journey he began.
